Our first meeting....

 We are going to have a nursery rhyme/fairy tale dress up day. We will begin with a parade. The parade will go from in front of the school, towards the hospital, and back around the block. We will end up on the football field or new park. Our parade will begin with a banner that says, "Once upon a time" and will end with a banner that says, "They lived happily ever after." We hope to have the JCHS band and color guard lead the parade. We would like for Rita Culvern to be our grand marshal and ride in convertible. The kids will dress up like nursery rhyme or fairy tale characters. They will carry props that go with their costume. "Mary Had a Little Lamb" could pull a wooden lamb on wheels or carry a stuffed lamb. The kids will pull each other in decorated wagons as floats. We will have balloons decorating our area at the field. We will have an MC to announce the characters as they walk in the parade. We would like the police and fire department to be a part of the parade. We will ask Mrs. Strange to be a clown in the parade. We will have Mother Goose in a convertible or float at the end of the parade.
